Hey, I’m Barbara Baker.
I pop Prozac but also take doses of vanilla bean coffee, sun salutations, captivating books, trashy tv, and actually talking about my feelings. At seventeen, I was diagnosed with an eating disorder. After a few half-drunken, half-academic years at university I was diagnosed with depression in 2017. In 2018, I apparently specialized my eating disorder in anorexia nervosa. But like any frat boy faced with “the what are we?” talk, I don’t care too much for labels.
I am a writer and not a mental health professional. But I hope to build connections regarding mental health through writing.
